Every week at each Clubhouse, we maintain a consistent schedule of structured programs. Although sometimes special events, speakers and holidays may modify the regular program, most weeks it looks the same. Below is an example of a standard weekly schedule that a student may have, although there are variations of the classes offered each Session (4 sessions/year). There are also “After Hours” special programs, electives and Teen Programs offered at each site from 6pm until as late as 9pm.

We aim to remain open in the after school time, as well as on non-school days, minimum days and on holiday breaks. On all of those occasions, as much as we can manage, our doors are open to any child who needs a safe space. This is particularly relevant in San Mateo County, where many schools adhere to a “year round” schedule with 2-3 week breaks occurring every few months. Many programs can’t accommodate these fluctuations and variations. Despite the increased costs and logistics challenges, Mid-Peninsula Boys and Girls Clubs is dedicated to providing as many program days as we possibly can for the youth we serve.
